Information and services

The Gustavo de Maeztu Museum Study Center was established in 1992 with the primary mission of promoting the study and dissemination of the life and work of Gustavo de Maeztu, as well as that of his siblings Ramiro and María de Maeztu y Whitney, two important figures in late 19th and early 20th-century Spain.

To achieve this, the Archive is made available to the public upon request. It contains documents gathered over the years through donations and research in local, regional, national, and international archives. This collection is supplemented by copies of press articles, the result of hemerographic research, since Maeztu’s legacy has reached us incomplete and without original documents.

The Study Center also houses the Library, with nearly 40,000 volumes primarily covering the artistic context of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Additionally, the Library has an annex in the Didactic Space, featuring a significant bibliographic collection spanning from Egyptian civilization to the 19th century. The Study Center is open to anyone interested in consulting it. To do so, it is necessary to contact the Museum's Management.

CONSULTATION HOURS: TUESDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 9:30 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.
