The Gustavo de Maeztu Museum Library is a specialized library with nearly 40,000 volumes. It is currently undergoing cataloging and digitization, with around 7,000 items already cataloged and accessible through the web search tool.
The library boasts an interesting collection of works by the Maeztu siblings and art catalogs from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Additionally, it includes a significant bibliographic selection in other disciplines such as history, literature, and the intellectual thought of the era during which Gustavo de Maeztu developed his creative activity.
Another important pillar of the library is its collection of volumes on museology and heritage, along with a series of reference books (dictionaries).
The library also features an annex in the Didactic Space, containing an extensive bibliographic collection donated privately. This collection includes works ranging from the cultural splendor of Egypt to 19th-century art, as well as other disciplines such as history and literature.
All these materials can be freely and gratuitously consulted by the public in the library's reading area, though personal lending services are not available.
